Innovation Health to leverage population health analytics for better care at lower costs

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Koan Health announced today that they were selected by Innovation Health to provide population health consulting and analytic services that will help deliver higher-quality care at lower costs. Innovation Health, the result of a unique partnership between two industry leaders, Inova and Aetna, a CVS Health Company, serves community members in Northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Innovation Health will utilize Koan’s proprietary analytic platform and consulting services, and coordination technology will be supplied by Enli Health Intelligence. These tools and services will enable Innovation Health to blend clinical data from Inova’s electronic medical records with Aetna’s claims data which will gain near real-time insight into clinical needs of their members. These tools will be instrumental in achieving their population health and care coordination objectives in 2019 and beyond.
