Oct. 16--Michael Becker of Western Springs is an insurance broker, car enthusiast and Disney World fan.

Q. Where did you grow up?

A. Naperville

Q. Do you have a family?

A. My wife, Colleen, and I have a 7-year-old son, Jack.

Q. What is your favorite local restaurant?

A. Palmer Place in La Grange. It's kid friendly and that always helps. I like their corned beef sandwich.

Q. What do you do for a living?

A. I'm an insurance broker for Aon.

Q. What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A. A professional soccer player. I played soccer in high school and our team finished second in state my junior year. But I had broken my leg earlier in the season. I got kicked in the shin and my leg was still in a cast.

Q. What is the last book you read that you would recommend?

A. 'Sapiens, a Brief History of Humankind.' It talks about how different civilizations formed and why.

Q. Where is your favorite place to vacation?

A. Definitely Disney World. We've gone there a lot. My son Jack loves it.

Q. Where would you like to go that you have not been?

A. I would love to go to Tokyo and see Japan.

Q. What is your favorite TV show?

A. 'Top Gear,' it's an hour long show loosely about cars, but the guys in it do a lot of crazy stunts. I'm a car enthusiast.

Q. How many cars do you have?

A. Two, a Mazda CX-5, which is my utilitarian car, and a Camaro ZL1, which I just picked up. Before that I had a Ford Focus RS, which had a 350-horsepower engine, with all-wheel drive and racing seats. It's designed for the track. I take it on the road course at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet. But I needed more power, so I got the Camaro, which has 650 horsepower.

Q. What superpower would you like to have?

A. To never need sleep. I could get more done.
