KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Kansas City Life Insurance Co. (KCLI) on Friday reported a third-quarter loss of $1.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Kansas City, Missouri-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share.
The insurance company posted revenue of $128 million in the period.
Kansas City Life shares have decreased nearly 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased slightly more than 1% in the last 12 months.
