'Issues Insurance Companies Should Consider in 2021' Conference Session Set for Sept. 14 by American Property Casualty Insurance Association

CHICAGO, Illinois, Aug. 25 (TNSeve) -- The American Property Casualty Insurance Association has scheduled a conference session as part of its Investment Conference on Sept. 14, 2021, entitled "Issues Insurance Companies Should Consider in 2021":

Investment and capital markets emerged very strong from the pandemic-driven 2020. Low inflation and potential recovery from the pandemic also supports a constructive view for world economies. Conning's Chair of the Investment Policy Committee, Cindy Beaulieu, will present insights on the impact this has had on the economy of capital markets. Cindy will also discuss the potential impact of these macro trends on various market sectors and in turn the firm's strategies for managing client portfolios.

Cynthia A. Beaulieu

Cynthia A. Beaulieu is a managing director and portfolio manager at Conning where she is responsible for managing several large life insurance general account portfolios as well as pension assets for institutional clients of Conning's subsidiary, Goodwin Capital Advisers. In addition to her portfolio management responsibilities, she is also chair of the investment policy committee, a group of the senior portfolio managers charged with setting portfolio strategy for the firm on a monthly basis. Over the course of her 26 years in the industry, she has held positions of increasing responsibility, from trading all sectors of the fixed income market to analyzing foreign investment opportunities as well as management of Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs). Ms. Beaulieu was previously employed by Shawmut Bank as a corporate trust analyst and is a graduate of LaSalle University with a degree in Finance.
