Inszone Insurance Services Acquires San Antonio Insurance Services, Expands Footprint in Texas

Business Wire

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, is pleased to announce its acquisition of San Antonio Insurance Services, a respected Texas-based agency known for its strong focus on trucking insurance and a broad array of property and casualty solutions.

Founded in 2012 as a mother-daughter agency, San Antonio Insurance Services quickly established itself as a trusted provider of insurance services. In February 2015, Greg Stevens acquired the agency and continued its growth trajectory. Greg, who holds a BBA in Business Data Systems from the University of Texas at Austin, has been an industry veteran since 1985, joining the insurance industry after his time spent in accounting.

In 2018, Greg's son, Aaron Stevens, joined the family business, further strengthening the agency's operations. Aaron’s dedication and hard work culminated in him becoming a partial owner in 2022. Both Greg and Aaron Stevens will continue their leadership roles under Inszone Insurance Services, ensuring a seamless transition and continued commitment to their clients.

Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, saying, "We are thrilled to welcome Greg, Aaron, and the entire San Antonio Insurance Services team to the Inszone family. Their expertise, particularly in the trucking insurance sector, and their involvement in the San Antonio community will be a valuable addition to our growing presence in Texas. We look forward to working together to continue delivering exceptional service to our clients."

This acquisition marks a significant step for Inszone Insurance Services as it expands its footprint in Texas, a key market for the company’s continued growth. Clients of San Antonio Insurance Services will now have access to Inszone’s extensive network of carriers, enhanced back-office support, and a wider range of insurance solutions, all while continuing to receive the personalized service they have come to expect.

Reflecting on the decision to join Inszone, Greg Stevens stated, "It was the right time to look for a partner. I wanted to do this while I’m healthy and around to help everyone build on the momentum." Greg also expressed his confidence in Inszone, noting, "Inszone is a new phenomenon in Texas, but not for long! The process of merging with Inszone so far has been smooth, and above all else, everyone has done everything they said they were going to do. I am very optimistic about the partnership."

Inszone Insurance is set to maintain its momentum, with several key transactions expected to be announced in the coming months.

Stroman Consulting Group was the exclusive representative and strategic advisor to San Antonio Insurance Services for the transaction.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Sacramento, California, Inszone is a full-service insurance brokerage firm that provides a broad array of property & casualty insurance and employee benefits solutions. With a strong, experienced management team, Inszone continues to grow organically and through acquisitions. With 71 locations across California, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington, the company is looking to expand further throughout the United States.
