In Business: Villeneuve appointed new wealth strategy associate

St. Cloud Times (MN)

April 30--Veronica Villeneuve has joined UBS Financial Services and Karl Nikodym Wealth Management Group as a wealth strategy associate.

Villeneuve has worked with Karl Nikodym Wealth Management Group for the past year, beginning in client services before this promotion. She has a bachelor of science degree from St. Cloud State University and more than six years of sales and marketing experience.

Kimberly Foster earns industry distinction

Financial Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer Kimberly Foster of Laraway Financial Advisors Inc. recently earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from the American College of Financial Services.

With an average study time of 400 hours, the ChFC® program requires more courses than any other financial planning credential. The program emphasizes key financial planning disciplines including insurance, income taxation, retirement planning, investments and estate planning.

Foster joined Laraway Financial in 2014 after a career as director of operations for a local financial planning firm. She studied at St. Cloud Technical & Community College and St. Cloud State University and subsequently earned securities licensures, leading her to a career in the financial services industry. Today she balances compliance responsibilities with helping clients optimize their finances through planning and education. Foster also volunteers as a recovery coach for Recovery Plus, a chemical dependency services provider.

Kahlhamer promoted at Central MInnesota Credit Union

Dave Kahlhamer was recently promoted to government loan program manager with the Central Minnesota Credit Union.

He will be assisting the commercial lending team in utilization of CMCU's preferred lending status with SBA, the only Minnesota credit union designated with that SBA status.

Kahlhamer has 15 years of experience working with the SBA loan programs and was previously CMCU's business loan support manager.
