PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On August 21, 2015, Healthcare Recovery Solutions, LLC (HRS) was awarded the bid from the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) and Oklahoma's Employees Group Insurance Division (EGID) (Solicitation #0900000174) for specialized subrogation services related to defective medical devices, dangerous drugs and exposures to toxic chemicals and substances. By working with HRS for these specialized claim categories (referred to as "Extraordinary Claims" in the bid), OHCA and EGID expect to substantially increase their recoveries of previously paid medical expenses.
HRS will perform subrogation services on a contingency fee basis for these two Funds beginning August 20, 2015 through December 31, 2015, with four additional annual renewal periods until December 31, 2019.
