"I heard from Kansans today who are doing everything right but are now facing impossible choices because their health insurance costs have skyrocketed. I'll keep fighting to restore these tax credits so families can afford the care they need instead of worrying about whether they can keep their coverage."

Nationally, health policy experts project the expiration of the tax credits are increasing premiums by an average of77 percent and could cause an estimated 4.2 million Americans to lose their health insurance. As healthier individuals drop coverage because of rising costs, premiums will climb even further for those who remain insured.
Davids has consistently pushed to lower healthcare costs by voting to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits through 2028,urging House leadership to act before they expired, andelevating the stories ofKansans whose families depend on affordable health coverage.
