Hannover Re US Announces Recent Promotions

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America “Hannover Re US”, announced today three promotions within the company.

Cheryl Bowen is promoted to Vice President, Shared Services Operations at Hannover Re US. Cheryl joined Hannover Re in 2010 as Integration Manager and most recently, served as Assistant Vice President, Shared Services Operations, focusing on the project management responsibilities related to enhancing and integrating finance, administration and actuarial systems within the US. In her new role, Cheryl will also be responsible for jointly developing and coordinating a global Life Systems Roadmap with Hannover Re Group life operations and managing other global initiatives impacting the US. Cheryl will continue to be based in the Orlando, Florida office.

Jodi McDonald is promoted to Vice President, Large Case Underwriter. For the past five years, Jodi served as Assistant Vice President, Large Case Underwriter, where she handled and assessed the largest facultative cases sent for review by our client companies, supporting our client training via public speaking engagements on financial risk topics and working to develop our internal hr | Ascent financial guidelines. In her new role, Jodi has assumed management support over several staff, and will continue handling large face amount and jumbo risks and engage in monitoring our workflow environment to drive additional efficiencies for our clients. Jodi will continue to be based in the Denver, Colorado office.

Ronda Watson is promoted to Vice President, Human Resources. For the last four years, Ronda has served as Human Resources Manager, focusing on recruiting, the actuarial intern program, development and implementation of the reward and recognition programs. Ronda also served on the Actuarial Student Development Program Committee and was responsible for all HR related matters for the Charlotte office. In her new role, Ronda will be responsible for all US employee relations functions, including talent attraction and retention, reward and recognition, compensation, benefits and leadership development. In addition, Ronda will collaborate with the leadership team to design and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational success. Ronda will continue to be based in the Charlotte, North Carolina office.
