Guardian Announces Annual Policyholder Dividend
New York, NY, November 19, 2015 -- The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America® (Guardian), one of the nation’s largest mutual life insurers and a leading provider of employee benefits, today announced its Board of Directors approved the payment of $836 million in dividends1 to the company’s individual life policyholders in 2016, representing the largest in company history. In addition, the Dividend Interest Rate, which is the investment component of the dividend, will continue to stay at 6.05% in 2016, as it was in 2015.
