Equipment Pro represents a significant enhancement to Property & Inland Marine’s core contractor’s equipment product by broadening the scope of covered property and expanding customizable limits and deductibles to best fit various exposure needs. Basic coverage includes protection against fire, water, earth movement, wind-related perils and theft, among other perils. This product also features a new rating approach that provides insureds with premium credits based on their years in business and favorable loss experience.
In addition to extensive primary coverage, Equipment Pro includes 18 additional coverages that address potentially overlooked exposures not always covered by competing forms unless specifically requested or endorsed. These additional coverage limits can be tailored to meet the requirements of different industries. Furthermore, seven optional coverages and multiple endorsements have been created to cater to the specialized operations of contractors, ensuring a product offering that meets the distinct needs of any contracting business.
