June 03-- Jun. 3--Glasgow police responded to a complaint of a vehicle that had left the scene of a crash.
After further investigation, Glasgow Police Officer Wesley Hicks found the vehicle parked at a residence on West Scrivener Road and located 47-year-old Christopher Wheeler of Glasgow. Police determined that Wheeler had been driving the vehicle that was involved in the crash, a Glasgow Police Department press release said.
Wheeler was arrested and charged with violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, leaving the scene of a crash (failure to render aid or assistance), first-degree wanton endangerment and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance (first offense), the press release said.
Wheeler was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond, according to the jail website.
