Apr. 9—ROCHESTER — State and local health care leaders will hold a roundtable event from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, in Rochester.
Panelists from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Minnesota Department of Commerce and MNsure will focus on two upcoming changes that could impact Minnesotans' health insurance coverage. The first is the potential for federal cuts to Medicaid, or Medical Assistance. The other topic is the advanced premium tax credit, a credit provided to qualifying self-insured patients that is set to expire this year.
The event will also include community members and local health care leaders, per a DHS press release.
The roundtable will be held at Fernbrook Family Center, located at 2519 Commerce Drive Northwest in Rochester. It's one of several roundtables being held across Minnesota.
