April 02-- Apr. 2--April is Financial Literacy Month and Public Library of Enid and Garfield County, along with Oklahoma Society of CPAs, is offering free financial fitness kits to the public.
The free booklet has advice and material on family finances, education expenses, fraud protection, retirement planning and tax information.
"Research shows people who are more educated about their personal finances save more, invest more, earn more, pay less for loans, make better credit choices, and retired sooner," according to the Oklahoma Society of CPAs' website.
Booklets are limited and may be picked up by the second-floor reference office. The kit also may be downloaded free at www.knowwhatcounts.org.
