Freberg Environmental Key Staff Additions

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Freberg Environmental Insurance (FEI), a Denver-based program manager, announced today several key staff additions to the company.

Brenda Ryberg joined FEI in June as a Program Manager of FEI’s Hazardous Materials Trucking program, replacing Diana Pantle who retired from FEI after 16 years of service. Ms. Ryberg joins FEI from Colony Insurance Company, where she was a senior underwriter for auto and garage risks. Brenda brings nearly 30 years of insurance industry experience to FEI.

Nick Langham, formerly of AIG Environmental in Dallas, joined FEI in July as a Senior Environmental Impairment Liability underwriter. Nick has a diverse environmental insurance and consulting background. Nick has underwritten contractor’s pollution, site pollution, and underground storage tanks for AIG’s Dallas region. Prior to joining AIG, Nick was an environmental consultant for an international environmental consulting firm. Nick earned his B.S. from Dallas Baptist University. Nick will be based in Dallas.

Kristen Scott joins FEI as a Production Underwriter based in Short Hills, New Jersey. Before joining FEI, Kristen was with Chamber Insurance Agency Services where she managed a national Environmental Storage Tank program as well as other Environmental Product Lines. Kristen is a member and past president of the New Jersey Young Insurance Professionals (NJYIP) and is on the Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey (PIANJ) Board of Directors. In 2011, Kristen received the National Young Insurance Professional of the Year award. She is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Sean Mclaughlin joined FEI as a Production Underwriter based in Denver, Colorado. Before joining FEI, Sean was with Tokio Marine Specialty as an environmental production underwriter tasked with handling new and renewal business for the western United States. Sean has obtained his CPCU, RPLU, ARe and ARM designations. Sean is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA where he played Division I Soccer and later obtained a Masters in Finance.
