Fidelis Care Opens Albany Community Office To Serve Capital Region Residents

ALBANY, N.Y., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fidelis Care, a Statewide health plan with 20 community office locations in New York State and more than 1.6 million members, announced the opening of its Albany Community Office.  The new facility, located at 997 Central Avenue, officially opened today following a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and community partners. 

Staffed with Fidelis Care Representatives, the new 2,300-square-foot office, is available to help current and prospective members with any questions they have – from renewing their coverage, and reviewing health insurance product choices, to applying for enrollment. Fidelis Care staff understand the unique needs and concerns of members as well as those who may be shopping for coverage for the first time.

The Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare is underway and continues through December 7.  Open enrollment for Qualified Health Plans through NY State of Health: The Official Health Plan Marketplace began on November 1 and runs through January 31, 2018.  Enrollment for other products including Medicaid Managed Care and Child Health Plus continue throughout the year.  The Fidelis Care Albany Community Office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
