eZLO Innovation Acquires FortrezZ To Offer Complete Water Damage Control Solution For Insurers

PR Newswire

CLIFTON, N.J., Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- eZLO Innovation, a global leader in development of smart solutions for homes and businesses, today announced the acquisition of FortrezZ and DAM-it Automated Water Control by C&S Electronics, the South Carolina-based, design, engineering, and manufacturing firms that provides wireless automation for flood detection and damage prevention.

The acquisition is eZLO's second in the last three months. They previously acquired MiOS, a full-service platform used by companies throughout the world to deliver smart home solutions and services to customers across multiple categories, including Wellness, Energy, Security, Property Management, and Insurance.

"We're excited to welcome FortrezZ and C&S to the eZLO Innovation family," said CEO, Mark Samuel. "They have a tremendous track record in the area of home flood prevention, and pairing their devices with our innovative, four-pillar software platform positions us perfectly to deliver cost-effective solutions that benefit both insurers and their clients on a massive scale."

"Water damage is one of the biggest expenses for homeowners and insurers, alike," said Steve Szasz, FortrezZ Co-Founder and Director of Sales & Marketing. "Becoming a part of eZLO Innovation gives us the chance to scale our platform with insurance providers and builders, and  to give millions of people the peace of mind that their house will be safe from flooding, even if they're on the other side of the world."

FortrezZ and DAM-it will continue to operate under the FortrezZ brand within the eZLO Innovation family, and eZLO plans to invest further in the next-generation products already under development.
