Evans Agency exec to be honored at golf tournament

Jun. 17--Empower will honor Ronald Miller, vice president of the Evans Insurance Agency, at its annual golf tournament today at Niagara Frontier Country Club, 1058 Lake Road in Youngstown.

Miller will receive the Neil and Mary Gruppo Service Award at the tournament dinner, to be held at 6 p.m.

Miller is being acknowledged for helping to protect the safety of the people who work and participate in Empower's programs. As Empower's insurance broker for 15 years, Miller has helped the agency to establish a risk management program and an active safety committee.

"Ron is more than just a vendor to us," said Empower Chief Executive Officer Jeff Paterson. "He is a true partner. Ron goes well beyond our expectations, devoting many hours to making our agency safer and more efficient."

Empower is an affiliate of the Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State.
