Esurance Homeowners Insurance Now Available in New Mexico

PR Newswire

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Esurance, the direct-to-consumer insurance company, today announced it is now offering homeowners insurance in New Mexico.

Esurance now offers home homeowners coverage in New Mexico.

With Esurance homeowners insurance, New Mexico residents can enjoy their house and belongings knowing they're protected with a policy that's backed by Allstate. Esurance homeowners coverage includes structure, personal property, and family liability protection, as well as water backup and additional living expense coverage to safeguard your home, cover your belongings, and protect your personal liability.

"We understand your home is your ultimate safe haven, a source of pride and enjoyment that you want to protect from unexpected accidents and certain risks that come with homeownership," said Jeffery Ill, vice president, homeowners product, Esurance. "That's why we created an intuitive online experience that lets homeowners design and purchase a unique, customized policy that provides affordable protection at a price that's right for them."

Homeowners insurance your way
Esurance's modern approach to insurance offers New Mexico residents an easy-to-understand, online experience to help them get the right level of protection for their individual needs. With helpful tips and graphics, the Esurance website offers built-in guidance to help consumers understand different coverage options and discounts.

Esurance customers can personalize their policy with a wide range of coverage options including:

  • Eco upgrade — with eco upgrade coverage, Esurance provides the replacement cost for a home's energy-inefficient appliances, electronics, and lighting, plus an extra 20 percent, if older systems are replaced with ENERGY STAR-qualified products after a covered loss.
  • Electronic data recovery — if a virus, crash, or other covered incident destroys data stored on an insured's computer, tablet, etc., Esurance will pay a data recovery firm up to $5,000 to restore the data.
  • Claim forgiveness — if you have to file a claim, your rate won't increase.

As New Mexico residents adjust their coverage levels, they can instantly see how those changes affect their quote. Once they purchase a policy, Esurance's 24/7 website and customer service means they can service their policies online or talk to a licensed Esurance agent anytime.

Save money
Esurance underwrites auto and homeowners insurance in New Mexico and offers savings to consumers who bundle their Esurance policies. In total, Esurance offers a number of different discount types on homeowners insurance, including the Claim-Free and the DIY Inspection discounts. With the Claim-Free discount, you get money back for every year you don't file a claim. And, with the DIY Inspection discount, homeowners who provide a copy of an official appraisal or inspection report completed within the last 12 months can save $50 on their premium.
