Erie Insurance named to Forbes list of top insurance companies

Erie-basedErie Insurancehas been named to the Forbes list of America's Best Insurance Companies for 2022. This recognition was presented by Forbes and Statista, a statistics portal and industry rankings provider.
Erie Insurance was listed as a top company in five different personal insurance categories, including auto, homeowners, renters, term life and permanent life.
For this list, insurance companies were identified during an independent survey of more than 16,000 U.S. consumers with at least one insurance policy. The survey considered customers' overall recommendations, their general satisfaction and ratings in five specific areas.
Erie Insurance also appears on Forbes' list of America's Best-In-State Employers, Best Employers for Diversity and America's Best Employers for 2021.
UPMC Hamot has been certified by the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association as a Comprehensive Cardiac Center. It is the first hospital in the region, and the first UPMC facility, to receive the designation.
The certification represents excellence in care for a range of cardiac conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, stent placement and coronary artery bypass surgery.
It was awarded following an on-site inspection to ensure Hamot complied with the latest standards and improvement activities.
