Delta Dental of California Promotes Belinda Martinez to Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Delta Dental of California and its affiliates today announced the promotion of Belinda Martinez to executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer.

Martinez is a 28-year veteran of the group of companies and has served as Delta Dental of California's senior vice president of sales and marketing since 2005. She also recently was named president of Delta Dental Insurance Company.

From 2002 to 2005, she was senior vice president and chief operating officer of Delta Dental Insurance Company and PMI Dental Health Plan, which merged with Delta Dental of California in 2007. Prior, she served as PMI's vice president of professional relations and vice president of finance and underwriting.

Martinez received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California and both her Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Loma Linda University.
