David Roath Named as Next CEO of Accume Partners

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Accume Partners announced today that it has hired David Roath as the firm’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Accume Partners, Roath was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP his entire professional career where he rose through the ranks becoming partner in 2001 and most recently established and grew PwC’s National IT Risk & Security Assurance practice. He brings an energetic leadership style to Accume as well as his risk assurance expertise with a strong background in internal audit, regulatory and compliance, advisory, IT risk and cybersecurity. Roath worked with various sector specific financial services regulators and worked with the FBI on several initiatives. He will guide a firm of internal audit, compliance, and technical experts who are currently serving over 500 clients across 40 states.

Over his career, Roath worked with a broad variety of clients ranging from large and small financial institutions, including: banking and capital markets, asset management (family office, hedge funds, and private equity), insurance companies, FinTech, exchanges, and other non-financial services sector clients within retail and consumer, technology, industrial products, health care, pharmaceutical, entertainment, media, and communications, higher education, and private company services.
