INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to CQ Roll Call, Inc., 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW FL 6, Washington DC 20004-2401 for a subscription renewal for CMS's Office of Communications. The sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 ( C ) ( 1 ) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because CQ Roll Call Inc. is the publisher and copyright holder of CQ Healthbeat. CQ Healthbeat monitors the pulse of the issues, events and people reshaping national health care policy. CMS REQUIREMENTS: CQ Healthbeat provides coverage of federal health policy and legislation on regulations, appropriations, news, and hearings that affect the healthcare industry. It delves in and delivers a comprehensive analysis of CMS rulings and the impact on hospitals, doctors, drug makers, and medical device maker; offers insights into upcoming healthcare bills and policy as the occur on the Hill and highlights pending healthcare legislation and implications for the Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and ACA programs. NAICS CODES: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 51110 (Newspaper Publishers) and the size standard is 500 employees. INTERESTED PARTIES: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
