Club Vita Hires Natalie Gleed to Support Growing US Pension Risk Transfer Activity

Business Wire

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Club Vita, an international leader in longevity data analytics, today announced the hiring of Natalie Gleed as Head of Business Development, US. Gleed’s hire was in response to growing demand for longevity analytics to support Pension Risk Transfer activity in the US and Club Vita’s increasing presence in this market; she will be responsible for driving the adoption of Club Vita’s product suite and analytics in this area.

After establishing operations in the US in 2019, Club Vita’s analytics are now used by 14 of the 21 direct writers of US PRT business, and a growing number of reinsurers are also turning to Club Vita’s expertise to support their US operations.

Gleed brings over 20 years of actuarial experience to the role, having previously held a variety of roles across the UK and US life insurance industries, most recently as a key account manager at Swiss Re. “I’m excited to get started,” said Gleed. “My previous experience in the industry, both in the US and in the UK, have prepared me perfectly to bring Club Vita’s offering to the US market, and to help develop further innovations within Club Vita.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Natalie to the Club Vita,” said Jennifer Haid, CEO at Club Vita. “She is a highly qualified and experienced professional with a passion for driving understanding and engagement with actuarial analytics. She will be a valuable asset to our team.”

About Club Vita:

Club Vita is an independent longevity data analytics company, which facilitates the accumulation and pooling of data underlying the longevity patterns of retirees with annuity benefits. We also support financial institutions that manage longevity risk: insurers, reinsurers and asset managers, helping them offer attractive longevity risk protection products in a tech-enabled, efficient manner. Our current international community is approaching 500 pension funds, 7 pension advisory firms and 30 (re)insurers. Across our three clubs, we are tracking the survival patterns of a diverse population of over five million people with benefits in workplace pension plans.
