Aug. 15--An accident involving a car and a motorcycle has left one adult male dead Sunday afternoon in Otter Creek Township.
Samuel Hayes, 25, Wheeler, died when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car at the intersection of Highway S and 570th Street in Dunn County.
According to the Dunn County sheriff's office:
At about 12:45 p.m. first responders received a call regarding a collision. Hayes' motorcycle was northbound on Highway S and and approaching 570th St. when it crossed into the southbound lane and collided with the car driven by Nicole Sorenson, 19, Wheeler.
At the scene, Hayes was determined to have died as a result of injuries he sustained during the collision.
Sorenson was uninjured. She was cited for operating without insurance.
