BRIEF: Marty Sauls named agency manager at Beaufort insurance firm

June 21--South Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company has named Marty Sauls as the new agency manager for the Beaufort office at 281 Parris Island Gateway.
Sauls earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. He first joined Farm Bureau Insurance in 2009 as an agent in Jasper County. Since then, Sauls was named District II Agent of the Year for the past five consecutive years; South Carolina Agent of the Year for 2001 and 2014, and received the 2016 MAPS Award for District II.
He currently serves as chairman of Jasper County Council and volunteers with the Bluffton/Jasper Volunteers in Medicine, Boys and Girls Club of the Lowcountry and The American Cancer Society.
