BRIEF: Input sought on children’s health insurance plan

Nov. 30--The North Dakota Department of Human Services' Medical Services Division is seeking public comment on its draft 2018 quality strategy plan for the state's Children's Health Insurance Program, also known as Healthy Steps.
The plan will guide the department and Healthy Steps' vendors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota and Delta Dental of Minnesota, in providing health care coverage for children enrolled in program. Federal regulations require the department to seek public comment annually on the plan.
The draft quality strategy plan is online at http://bit.ly/2j4ApGt or a copy may be requested by calling 701-328-2323. The deadline for comments is noon CST on Dec. 31. Comments may be mailed to North Dakota Department of Human Services, Medical Services Division, Attn: Jodi Hulm, 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Dept. 325, Bismarck, ND 58505-0250.
