BRIEF: Hub International acquires Louisiana’s Benefit Advisory Group
Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA)
Sept. 18--Hub International Limited, a global insurance brokerage based in Chicago, has acquired the assets of Benefit Advisory Group LLC, a specialist in employee benefits with offices in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
The price was not disclosed.
Jay McGuire and Jeff Joffrion, managers of Benefit Advisory Group in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices, respectively, will join Hub Gulf South. Hub has offices in Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Metairie, Lafayette, Houma and Shreveport. In 2014, the company acquired Fox/Everett Inc., one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Mississippi, which also had a New Orleans location.
Hub International provides property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products, and services from offices located throughout North America.
