BRIEF: Grand Forks man faces charges after crashing car into tree

Nov. 13--Grand Forks Police say a man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after he crashed a car into a tree Saturday.
According to a police news release, emergency personnel responded to a crash on the 1200 block of North 43rd Street on a report of a one-vehicle accident around 4:45 p.m.
An investigation found Arjundip Daaljit, 26, Grand Forks, was driving north in a 1999 Ford Mustang when he lost control of the car, left the road and struck a tree. City firefighters extricated him from the wreck and Altru Ambulance took him to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The car sustained substantial damage, police said.
Daaljit also faces charges of driving with a suspended license and not having liability insurance, according to the police statement.
