Dec. 22--BUHL -- A four-week workshop about estate/succession planning for a farming or ranching operation will be offered by the University of Idaho Extension Farm Management Group. A lawyer, a financial/insurance professional, and an accountant will each instruct for an afternoon class. Registration is required by the Dec. 29; contact the Cassia County Extension office at 208-878-9461.
The workshop will be conducted each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with lunch included. Cost: $100 per operation to defray costs. Operations may send more than one person.
Workshops are:
* Tuesdays -- Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30; Vaquero Restaurant, 1003 Main St., Buhl
* Wednesdays -- Jan. 10, 17, 24 and 31; Lincoln County Extension Office, 201 S. Beverly St., Shoshone
* Thursdays -- Jan. 11, 18, 25 and Feb. 1; Cassia County Extension Office, 1459 Overland Ave., Room. 10, Burley
