BRIEF: Accident Woman crashes car into animal hospital

June 05--MOSES LAKE -- A Moses Lake woman reportedly caused a vehicle to crash into an animal hospital in Moses Lake Tuesday morning and fled the scene.
About 11:05 a.m.Nicole M. Haggerty, 32, of Moses Lake, was driving a Honda Accord north in the 3700 block of East Wheeler Road, according to police records.
Haggerty reportedly crossed over the center line, went up over the sidewalk, struck several mailboxes and continued driving north in a parking lot.
She reportedly collided into several vehicles, causing one of the vehicles she hit to strike the side of Broadway Animal Hospital, located at 3712 East Broadway Avenue. The vehicle reportedly damaged a wall at the animal hospital.
Haggerty allegedly fled the scene but was later apprehended by police.
She was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment of the injuries she received in the accident.
Haggerty was cited for hit-and-run, reckless driving, third-degree driving with a suspended/revoked license and driving without insurance, according to police records.
