His journey to opening his business, however, was a road less traveled.
Laubach was laid off of his welding job about seven years ago, but found a way to turn a negative into a positive. With money he had saved he decided to open Laubach's Body Shop at
"I don't know if I'd have the time or energy to do it if I wasn't laid off," Laubach said. "It turned out to be a benefit to me. I had the savings, and then I had unemployment, so I got the garage. Here I am, and it's been five years since that time, and it's steadily growing."
Laubach offers everything from automotive repair and maintenance to state inspections and collision repair.
