beWellnm offering more health care options for New Mexicans through Jan. 15, 2022 [Deming Headlight]

SANTA FE, N.M. - Enrollment for health insurance plans on beWellnm.com is open. New Mexicans can sign up for a health plan until January 15, 2022. For a new plan to start on January 1, 2022, the sign-up deadline is December 23, 2021. Thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and work done by the New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance, New Mexicans can find big savings.
"We urge every family and individual to compare their current plans to those now available through the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange, beWellnm," said Insurance Superintendent Russell Toal, continuing "Many of the new plans have rates that are 75% to 100% lower."
Consumers can find information about their health insurance choices at https://www.bewellnm.com/. They can call 1-833-ToBeWell (1-833-862-3935) and TTY: 711, Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., chat online or make a virtual appointment through the website.
