Bankers Insurance Group Breaks $1 Million in Salvation Army Donations

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Bankers Insurance Group (BIG), an affiliate of St. Petersburg, FL-based Bankers Financial Corporation, was honored today at the annual Salvation Army All Star Breakfast for passing the $1 million mark in charitable contributions.
Over the past 16 years, the BIG-sponsored Kettle Classic Golf Tournament has grossed 7-figures, by bringing Bankers leadership and business partners together on the links. The event honors the memory of longtime Bankers executive Edward Hussmann and raises awareness and funds for the St. Petersburg Area Command of the Salvation Army.
