AXIS Appoints Pauline Morley as Head of E&O in the US

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, April 18, 2024 - AXIS Capital Holdings Limited ("AXIS Capital" or "AXIS" or the "Company") (NYSE: AXS) today announced the appointment of Pauline Morley as Head of E&O in the US, effective immediately.

Reporting to John Van Decker, Head of Global Financial Lines, Ms. Morley will lead the growth and advancement of the AXIS offering in the professional liability market, aligned with the Company's position as a leading specialty insurer.

"Pauline brings extensive E&O expertise in addition to proven leadership skills that are integral to building on our position in the professional liability market. She will help shape the direction of our portfolio by deepening our existing broker relationships, pursuing additional sectors for profitable growth, and bolstering our existing underwriting strength," said Mr. Van Decker. Ms. Morley joins AXIS with more than 35 years of professional liability underwriting and leadership experience, having held senior positions at WesteWorld Insurance Group, Travelers, HCC, and USI. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and Architects & Engineers Liability at Argo Pro.
