AXIS Appoints Paul Boulos and Rob Ryan to Head Ocean Marine in the US

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, June 5, 2024 - AXIS Capital Holdings Limited ("AXIS Capital" or "AXIS" or the "Company") (NYSE: AXS) today announced the appointments of Paul Boulos and Rob Ryan as Heads of Ocean Marine, effective immediately.

Reporting to Michael McKenna, Head of North America, Mr. Boulos and Mr. Ryan together will be responsible for building a suite of Ocean Marine related products into a comprehensive offering, aligned to the Company's ambition to be a leading specialty insurer. These responsibilities include working with Frank Romeo who joined AXIS in 2023 as US Head of Cargo.

Mr. Boulos and Mr. Ryan join AXIS with 40 years of ocean marine underwriting and leadership experience combined. Most recently, Mr. Boulos served as National Cargo Product Leader at Navigators, a brand of The Hartford, and Mr. Ryan managed the New York Marine Branch as Vice President at Navigators.
