Attorney general warns Pennsylvanians that open enrollment season may prompt health insurance scams
The Office of Attorney General’s Health Care Section warns that a growing number of fake websites are representing themselves as official online insurance marketplaces. Some of these websites are actually scams with bad actors attempting to collect personal information and payments.

Pennie can also connect you to a certified Pennie assistant in your area for additional in-person application support.
Consumers should also be wary of any calls or emails they receive during open enrollment season. Scammers may claim they have limited-time offers or can provide you with lower monthly costs through their enrollment process. Never provide your personal information to unknown callers or through email.
