Aon Expands Global Risk Analytics Leadership Team

New leaders will support development and implementation of next-generation tools and experiences for clients

LONDON, March 20, 2025 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Oriol Gaspa Rebull as global head of analytics strategy and operations for Risk Capital alongside three additional new leaders. The new appointments underscore Aon's continued investment in the firm's data and analytics capabilities, including its growing suite of risk analyzer tools.

In this role, Gaspa Rebull will be responsible for advancing Aon's analytics capabilities, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing the execution of data-driven solutions across Reinsurance and Commercial Risk. Gaspa Rebull will also manage key analytics technology projects, including the implementation of new data governance frameworks and visualization tools that enhance decision-making for clients. Gaspa Rebull will report to Paul Shedden, global head of Risk Capital analytics, and to Magnus Roe, global chief data and analytics officer. He will be based in London.

Gaspa Rebull's promotion further underscores Aon's continued investment in expanding the firm's data and analytics capabilities. A seasoned leader within Aon, Gaspa Rebull most recently served as head of UK Short Tail Analytics for Aon, where he oversaw catastrophe management, actuarial and research teams providing risk assessments to reinsurance clients. Having held leadership roles across Aon's global analytics team, he has played a pivotal role in advancing risk assessment tools and insights for clients across various industries.

Strengthening Aon's Analytics Leadership
Alongside Gaspa Rebull's appointment, Aon is pleased to announce additional key leadership roles within the analytics team:

• Hetul Patel has joined Aon as head of international Casualty Analytics, bringing extensive experience in actuarial leadership and underwriting performance. Previously, Patel served as Chief Actuary at Liberty Mutual Reinsurance.
• Gregory Larcher has been appointed as U.S. head of Casualty Analytics, leveraging his three decades of experience in risk management and actuarial reserve analysis.
• Tamara Soyka joins Aon as head of EMEA analytics, Commercial Risk, focusing on enhancing risk analytics capabilities across the region. Previously, Soyka served as head of Cat Perils EMEA at SwissRe.
