American Property Casualty Insurance Association Issues Statement on Terrorism Risk Insurance Act

CHICAGO, Illinois, Dec. 17 -- The American Property Casualty Insurance Association issued the following statement by Nat Wienecke, senior vice president of federal government relations on reauthorization of Terrorism Risk Insurance Act:

"Today is a great day for the House, and especially for our nation as we are working to provide certainty to protect our economy from unthinkable terrorism risk.

By acting on time, the House will maintain stability for businesses and these vital markets.

We look forward to the Senate following suit and the president signing the bill."
