AM Best to Participate at IASA Metro NY/NJ Chapter’s Upcoming Education Seminar

AM Best Managing Director John Andre will participate in a discussion of the U.S. property/casualty (P/C) insurance industry’s performance during the IASA Metro NY/NJ Chapter's 2023 Golf Outing & Education Seminar, which will be held May 18, 2023 in Kenilworth, NJ.

The session is titled, “2022 Industry Results and Overview,” and will address the current state of the U.S. P/C industry, as well as the headwinds and tailwinds facing its individual business segments. Andre is responsible for managing the U.S.-based teams of analysts that follow regional U.S. insurers, medical professional liability insurers and captive insurers, as well as companies writing professional liability, specialty commercial and title insurance. Over his 30-plus years at AM Best, he has been involved with the analysis of wide variety of insurers in more than 90 countries.

The IASA is a non-profit, education association that seeks to create and provide to its members and participants a framework for best practices in certain insurance industry disciplines such as accounting, finance, risk management, investments, operations, technology and career skills.
