AM Best to Deliver Property/Casualty Market Report at American Association of Insurance Services’ Pulse Event in Chicago

AM Best will participate in the American Association of Insurance Services’ (AAIS) Pulse event, which takes place Oct. 25-27, 2022, in Chicago.

Stefan Holzberger, chief rating officer, AM Best, will sit down with John Kadous, AAIS vice president of product, to discuss the issues pressuring property/casualty insurance companies, including COVID-19, inflation, interest rates and climate risks and international geopolitics. Other topics will include the state of insurers’ financial health, as well as what AM Best is looking for from insurance executives given the stiff market headwinds. Holzberger is responsible for the rating agency’s global ratings coverage and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He also holds the chartered financial consultant designation. The session will take place on Oct. 25, at 9:30 a.m. (CDT).

The AAIS serves as an intermediary between regulators and insurance carriers, filing forms and rates and serving as a statistical reporting bureau.
