AllianzWatch.com Supports Independent Steve Poizner for Insurance Commissioner

"AllianzWatch.com is supporting Steve Poizner for Insurance Commissioner for two reasons," Michael Ross, Executive Director for AllianzWatch.com said.

"Most importantly, Poizner's agenda falls in line with ours," Ross continued. "Second, he has experience in the position, and will be able to deliver for the people of California immediately."

Located in San Mateo, AllianzWatch.com is a registered 501 (c4) non-profit corporation, AllianzWatch.com is organized to monitor, report and educate consumers (specifically senior citizens) about insurance industry fraud and abuse. Unfortunately, this is important because elder abuse cases, as well as economic and criminal scams against them are rapidly growing in both the general public and the insurance industry.

"There are many issues to be concerned with, but we have narrowed them down to a handful," Dominique Black, an AllianzWatch.com's director said. "Cybercrime, fraud and healthcare abuse are rapidly growing against the elderly, and Poizner's platform and website address our concerns."

Additionally, AllianzWatch.com understands that the California Insurance Commissioner oversees the Department of Insurance and the following divisions in that department: Fraud, Office of the Ombudsman, Policy and Planning and Rate Regulation.
