Allianz Life Introduces New Versions of Top-Selling Fixed Index Annuities
The enhanced new products feature more options for diversification and personalization
Allianz Benefit Control+TM Annuity and Allianz 222+TM Annuity have more options for diversification and personalization with new features:
- Accessibility enhancements include the Income Flex Benefit that allows clients to access more of their annuity’s value sooner to help address life’s unexpected events2.
- Crediting innovations to offer greater choice include a 1-Year Highest Daily Value crediting method with a participation rate2 and Performance Trigger crediting method3.
- New options of indexing diversification4 include an S&P 500® Futures Index ER with a non-volatility-controlled pure equity options and a Morgan Stanley Strategic Trends 10 ER Index that adapts to market trends and offers tech equity exposure.
“Americans are looking for more options to personalize products to their own investment philosophy in today’s market environment,” said
Allianz Benefit Control+TM Annuity and Allianz 222+TM Annuity still have signature benefits that can mitigate the risks of inflation and market volatility such as an increasing income opportunity that helps clients address the rising cost of living5 and Index Lock that allows clients to lock in a positive index value once per crediting period6.

2 In some circumstances, using the Income Flex Benefit may deplete the accumulation value more quickly. If the accumulation value goes to zero, other benefits may be impacted.

4 Diversifying allocations within a fixed index annuity does not ensure an interest credit in any crediting period. No single allocation option will be most effective in all market environments. There is potential for volatility controlled indexes to underperform compared against benchmark indexes.
5 Increasing income potential is provided through a built-in rider at no additional cost.
6 Exercising an Index Lock may result in a credit higher or lower than if the Index Lock has not been exercised.
Fixed index annuities are designed to meet long-term needs for retirement income. They provide guarantees against the loss of principal and credited interest, tax-deferred accumulation potential, and the reassurance of a death benefit for beneficiaries.
Distributions are subject to ordinary income tax and, if taken prior to age 59 1/2, an additional 10% federal tax.
Guarantees are backed solely by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.
