Alliant Employee Benefits Forms National Absence, Disability, and Life ADL Consulting Practice

Insurance Weekly News

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Alliant Employee Benefits, a division of Alliant Insurance Services, is pleased to announce the formation of a national consulting practice focused on Absence, Disability, and Life (ADL) programs. The practice was created as part of Alliant Employee Benefits' ongoing strategy to provide clients with access to the highest quality expertise and a distinctive value proposition.

"An aging workforce and fraying social safety net have made all programs both more expensive for employers and more important for employees," said Craig Guiffre, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Alliant Employee Benefits. "The formation of this practice was driven by the ever-expanding team of benefits consultants, leave/absence management specialists, and underwriting/analytics experts that have joined the Alliant organization, as well as the significant demand from our clients and prospects in these increasingly complex areas of benefits."

The practice leverages the talent, experience, and long track record represented by Sagewell Partners (joined Alliant in 2014) and American Benefits Consulting (joined Alliant in 2015), as well as experienced consultants from across the entire Alliant organization. The combination and integration of these teams positions Alliant as the preeminent ADL consulting practice in the country, with unrivaled scale and specialized expertise.

More recent additions to the practice include: Terry Smith, First Vice President, New York; Alan Dale, First Vice President, Dallas; Erica Klein, First Vice President, New York; Kevin Collins, Executive Vice President, Chicago; and Steve Sack, Executive Vice President, Chicago. Alliant will continue to make strategic additions to its already strong team in the areas of total absence management, compliance, financial analysis, and data reporting.

"Our clients consist of some of the largest, most complex organizations in the country-thousands of employers representing more than 15 million employees," said Kevin Overbey, Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director, Alliant Employee Benefits. "We expect that this scale and market leverage, combined with Alliant's client-first approach and deep technical consulting team, make us uniquely positioned to support our clients' wide range of needs in this important area."

Additional information on the practice can be obtained by contacting Craig Guiffre at (212) 716-3403 or at [email protected].
