Zane Benefits Announces Corporate Partnership with NAHU

PR Web

(PRWEB) June 25, 2012

Zane Benefits, which provides businesses and health insurance professionals with comprehensive and flexible defined contribution health benefits and private exchange solutions, today announced a new corporate partnership with the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). As a new Corporate Partner, Zane Benefits is giving all NAHU members special access to its defined contribution and private health exchange resources.

The National Association of Health Underwriters represents more than 100,000 licensed health insurance agents, brokers, general agents, consultants and benefit professionals through more than 200 chapters across America. Its members service the health insurance needs of large and small employers as well as people seeking individual health insurance coverage.

According to Rick Lindquist, President of Zane Benefits, “employer-based health insurance has evolved. It's no longer just a simple annual renewal. Now, it's consumer-directed approaches, defined contribution health plans and private health insurance exchanges.”

As group health insurance costs continue to rise, health insurance professionals are looking for ways to offer solutions at a lower price. Zane Benefits’ online health benefits platform allows brokers and consultants to offer a customized defined contribution and private exchange solution.

“With massive changes overtaking the health insurance industry, it is most important for us to collaborate and strengthen our joint offerings. We are pleased to join the members of NAHU to help bring new solutions to the employee health benefits market,” Lindquist said.

To help educate NAHU members on defined contribution and private health exchange solutions, Zane Benefits is providing a free defined contribution health benefits kit for NAHU members. The kit is available for download at http://www.zanebenefits.com/nahukit.

Additionally, NAHU members can visit http://www.zanebenefits.com/nahu to sign up for a free Zane affiliate account to get instant access to:

Customizable defined contribution and private exchange technology
Customized marketing brochures
Free weekly training webinars
Personal sales website
Free education material
“Our commitment to NAHU and its members makes defined contribution and private exchange solutions readily available to member clients at an affordable rate.”
