Xigo Pro Helps Consultants Save Their Clients Thousands of Dollars in Wireless Charges

Cloud-Based Telecom Expense Management Solution Helps Agents and Consultants Recommend Cost Savings in Real-Time

<location value="LU/us.va.mansas" idsrc="xmltag.org">MANASSAS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Xigo, the cloud-based solution that simplifies managing enterprise telecommunications costs, is inviting corporate agents and consultants to try their premium mobile expense management solution – Xigo Pro – to recommend cost savings and operational efficiencies to their clients. Consultants can also utilize free Web-based tool Xigo Now to analyze client wireless invoices and see recommendations for immediate savings in a matter of minutes.

Dean Rowen, president of the consultancy ComAudit Services – a Xigo Pro customer – notes: “There are a multitude of factors that go into optimizing a client’s wireless invoicing. The right pooling plans and discounts are often only a very small portion of the opportunity to generate savings for our clients. Xigo Pro is an amazingly fast and easy to use tool that quickly identifies key issues as well as other anomalies. This information can streamline our processes and have a dramatic impact on a company’s bottom line.”

Xigo’s flexible platform meets the needs of all types of businesses, from small companies with as few as five devices to large multinational organizations with fixed, mobile and global cost management needs. However, use of Xigo’s solutions is not limited to actual employees or company managers. Anyone with jurisdiction over a company’s wireless invoices can benefit from using any one of Xigo’s products, which include:

Xigo Now: A free, instant, self-service, mobile focused expense management application that saves time and money in the management of companies’ mobile phone expenses

Xigo Pro: An inexpensive, self-service expense management application to manage the more complicated workflow automation tasks associated with mobile cost management

Xigo Enterprise: A complete set of global, expert capabilities on a unified platform covering everything from wireless to wire line

Consultants tasked with identifying unnecessary corporate expenses and recommending strategies for reducing budget waste should start their research with telecom expense management – particularly mobile expenses, where savings can be realized from a closer examination of specific data plans, overage charges, roaming fees and phone insurance, for example.

Besides sneaky add-on charges from mobile service operators, companies also tend to provide their employees with needlessly generous mobile voice and data plans. Despite today’s culture of constant emails, social networking and mobile video, Xigo finds that on average, employees consume only 13% of their wireless data plan cap (the most common plan being 2GB). The top half of their allotted data plan goes completely unused. With a little finagling (and greater use of Wi-Fi), most employees could operate perfectly well within 50% of their current data cap. A 2GB plan ($40 a month on average) could become a 1GB plan ($20 a month on average).

“What many companies don’t realize is that standardizing on one or two mobile carriers and selecting the most competitively-priced bulk plan doesn’t mean you’re getting a good value,” said Dave Spofford, CEO of Xigo. “Wireless bills are riddled with throwaway charges and unnecessary subscriptions that cost companies millions of dollars for absolutely no value. Consultants and other external agents are in an ideal position to present these potential savings to their clients; they’re distinct from the organization and can analyze spending patterns in an objective way.”

About Xigo

Xigo instantly reduces and controls mobile, fixed and global telecommunications costs for organizations of all sizes. The company provides the first and only solution that uploads wireless bills and automatically generates immediate cost and time-saving results -- in minutes, not months. Xigo’s single, cloud-based platform accommodates company growth without adding complexity and satisfies the full range of enterprise communications expense management requirements. Xigo’s success is attributed to customer-centric innovations and industry firsts with more than a decade of expertise spanning wireless and wire line communications.
