Xactware Launches into Software Agreement with MetLife Auto & Home
OREM -Utah - July 28, 2006 - Xactware Inc. has announced that it has reached an agreement with personal lines insurer MetLife Auto & Home® to use Xactware's industry-leading estimation software and services as part of its property loss estimating and adjusting process.
"We are excited to provide MetLife Auto & Home with innovative tools that can enhance its already outstanding claims services," said Jim Loveland, president and CEO of Xactware. "Both companies have established a reputation for providing superior products and customer assistance, so we're very pleased to be able to list MetLife Auto & Home among our clients."
Before making the decision to align itself with Xactware, MetLife Auto & Home underwent an extensive request for proposal (RFP) process in order to determine whether Xactware's software and services would be a good fit for the leading insurer -- and whether it would result in even higher levels of customer service. Based upon this analysis, it was determined that the Xactimate and XactAnalysis tools would simplify communication between field resources and a claim office, and also expedite the processing of critical data.
The agreement allows MetLife Auto & Home to take advantage of Xactware's full line of estimation software and services, including: graphical estimating, line item entry, summary matrix, grouping and dimensioning, third-party integration, one-click framing, flooring tools, an assignment network, analytical tools and more.
According to Tom McHugh, MetLife Auto & Home's vice president of technical operations, in less than 60 days from the execution of the contract, MetLife Auto & Home was able to develop an implementation plan and deliver the Xactware training/systems to its field staff. "This outstanding result has been made possible through the commitment, diligence and expertise of both teams," reported McHugh. The implementation plan was overseen by MetLife Auto & Home's National Homeowner Claim Manager Tim Bowen.</font>
