WorkCompEDI Announces Agreement with Aon eSolutions for Electronic Billing Services
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- WorkCompEDI, a recognized leader in providing turnkey electronic billing and processing services in the workers' compensation industry, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Aon eSolutions, the technology arm of Aon Corporation, to provide electronic clearinghouse services for Aon eSolutions' workers' compensation managed care division.
This relationship will enable Aon eSolutions' clients and medical providers to submit workers' compensation-related billing electronically while reducing the resources Aon must provide to enable the myriad of formats and methods of connectivity in use today.
"By working with WorkCompEDI, we will be able to simplify the number of connections and contracts maintained through our proprietary bill review engine," said Jacqueline Payne, vice president, managed care for Aon eSolutions.
WorkCompEDI's electronic clearinghouse service will give Aon, its providers and partners a turnkey solution for the exchange of electronic billing through flexible connectivity options that unite all parties, reduce postage costs, eliminate lost documents and improve revenue cycles.
"WorkCompEDI is proud to have been selected from a highly competitive group of bidders to provide services to Aon eSolutions," states Marc Menendez, president/CEO of WorkCompEDI. "We look forward to delivering outstanding services."
