The following information was released by the Pennsylvania Democratic Party:
Health insurance premiums have risen by an average of 177% on average across Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties
PENNSYLVANIACentral Pennsylvania is continuing to feel the pain after Scott Perry advocated and voted for Republicans' devastating healthcare cuts calling an extension of the Affordable Care Act subsidies "a colossal mistake."
New data shows that more than 9,900 of Perry's constituents have already been forced to drop their coverage as Pennsylvanians across Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties have seen their health insurance premiums rise by an average of 177%.
While Governor Shapiro and Pennsylvania Democrats are standing up to protect Pennsylvanians' healthcare and make life more affordable, Perry and his fellow Pennsylvania Republicans continue putting their loyalty to a toxic, cost-raising agenda first and that's exactly why Central Pennsylvanians will reject Perry and elect Janelle Stelson this November.
