VisionShare Inc. Appoints James P. Bradley as Chairman of the Board

VisionShare® Inc., the nation's largest secure health information network, announced that James P. Bradley has been named Chairman of the Board, effective September 1, 2010.

Mr. Bradley was the original CEO of RxHub LLC, a healthcare technology company that has developed a nationwide electronic information exchange to permit the sharing of prescription and benefit information between prescribers, pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers. Prior to this position, he served as senior executive at McKesson Corporation, the largest drug distribution and healthcare technology company in the world. He has also served as Chairman and CEO of GTESS Corporation and Abaton.com, Inc., President of Health Systems Integration, Inc. and CIO of UnitedHealth Group, one of the nation's largest healthcare service providers.

Mr. Bradley earned his BS and MS degrees from the University of Illinois and MBA degree from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He has lectured at Harvard University, Wharton, University of California, University of Minnesota, and other institutions on topics related to health policy and information technology.

Currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Prematics, Inc., a Washington, DC-based ePrescribing company, Mr. Bradley, is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Minnesota Medical Center - Fairview. Additional Board affiliations include Aionex, a Nashville-based hospital information systems company, and Wellpartner, based in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Bradley frequently volunteers his time on behalf of organizations striving to advance the state of health information technology.
